Margo Westmoreland presents Col. Peter Buck with the Voluntary Protection Program’s Star Site award aboard Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, Feb. 2. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s highest honor recognized MCAS Beaufort for achieving an elite level of safety and health management while maintaining injury and illness rates below national averages. Westmoreland is the area director, OSHA Savannah Area Office and Buck is the commanding officer of MCAS Beaufort.
