Engineers at NAWCAD Lakehurst utilize a 3-D printer to demonstrate their ability to create V-22 Osprey aircraft parts at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, Feb. 8, 2017. The printer creates parts by fusing metallic powder, starting from the base of the structure up, working layer by layer.
