170202-N-XT039-006 PHILIPPINE SEA (Feb. 2, 2017) Chief Petty Officer Mineman Philip Phillips, a craft master assigned to Naval Beach Unit (NBU) 7, from Riverside, Calif., inspects hoses on Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) 21 during a 25-hour maintenance package in the well deck of amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). The 25-hour maintenance package is maintenance conducted every 25 hours to maintain the operability of the LCAC. Bonhomme Richard is conducting unit-level training to ensure warfighting readiness in preparation for a routine patrol in support of security and stability in the Indo-Asia Pacific region.
