Military members from U.S. European Command loads a C-130 aircraft with firefighting supplies and delivers the firefighting humanitarian supplies to Moscow August 12, 2010. After an official request from the government of Russia to the U.S. and at the request of the Department of State, the Department of Defense directed U.S. European Command to provide valuable firefighting equipment that includes firefighting protective equipment and tools to help Russia combat the ongoing wildfires.
