The supplies are being delivered to Moscow after an official request from the government of Russia to the U.S., and at the request of The Department of State. The Department of Defense directed U.S. European Command to provide valuable firefighting equipment that includes firefighting protective equipment and tools to help Russia combat the ongoing wildfires.
