Col. Michael Borrel, Task Force Kout Men Commander, greets Ambassador Paul A. Trivelli, Deputy to the Commander and Foreign Policy Advisor, U.S. Southern Command, during his visit to Gonaives, Haiti, Aug 4. During the visit, Trivelli, visited a medical assistance site and one of the Task Force’s four school construction sites. New Horizons, in partnership with the government of Haiti, is conducting various medical, dental and engineering missions for the locals in Gonaives. New Horizons also provides valuable learning experience in a real-world environment for our U.S. forces.
