ATLANTIC OCEAN (Dec. 10, 2016) A team of Maritime Raid Force Marines with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit launch from USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) on a rigid hull inflatable boat to conduct a visit, board, search and seizure drill during the Amphibious Ready Group Marine Expeditionary Unit Exercise. During the three-week training evolution, Marines will tackle a wide range of operations and scenarios enhancing interoperability and amphibious warfare capabilities with their Navy counterparts.
