Two teams of Sailors and Marines of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Maritime Raid Force maneuver from USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) to the Narragnsett (TSV-4), while conducting a visit, board, search and seizure drill Dec. 10, 2016, during Amphibious Ready Group Marine Expeditionary Unit Exercise. The three-week training evolution is intended to build upon previous relationships, thereby enhancing Navy and Marine Corps interoperability and amphibious warfare capabilities to tackle a wide range of operations during their upcoming deployment.
