SAN DIEGO (Dec. 8, 2016) Petty Officer 1st Class Jeremy Kluttz receives the traditional "first kiss" from his wife as the guided-missile destroyer USS Zumwalt (DDG 1000) completed its three-month journey to its new homeport San Diego. The Navy's most technologically advanced surface ship, Zumwalt will now begin installation of combat systems, testing and evaluation and operation integration with the fleet.
