Heyward, of Beaufort, S.C., a senior mechanic with E Troop, 317th Cavalry Regiment, Task Force Lighthorse stacks sandbags at Forward Operating Base Fenty in eastern Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province, July 28. The sandbags were used to stop flooding on the FOB. Parts of Jalalabad and FOB Fenty received more than 6 inches of rain over a short period of time causing flash flooding in the city and on the FOB.
