FUJI, Japan (Nov. 16, 2016) Petty Officer 3rd Class Fransisco Murillo, left, and Petty Officer Third Class Robert Blankenship, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, position the forms around a foul pole to make sure it is plumb before the concrete is placed for foul poles on the baseball field at Combined Arms Training Center Camp Fuji. NMCB 5 is the forward deployed Western Pacific NMCB ready to support Major Combat Operations, Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief operations, and to provide general engineering and civil support to Navy, Marine Corps and joint operational forces. Homeported out of Port Hueneme, Calif., NMCB 5 has 12 detachment sites deployed throughout the United States and Western Pacific area of operations.
