    II Marine Expeditionary Force   

    A crew of Coast Guardsmen with Fort Macon and two search and rescue crew members with Marine Transport Squadron 1 wait for another Marine to be lowered to the Coast Guard vessel during day boat hoist training two miles south off the coast of Fort Macon, July 15. VMR-1 conducts training with the Coast Guard a few times a week during the day and night to ensure mission readiness.
