Marines assigned to Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force 24 transit to Salinas Beach, Peru in amphibious assault vehicles after disembarking the amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans. New Orleans is participating in Southern Partnership Station, an annual deployment of U.S. military training teams to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility in the Caribbean and Latin America.
