The formation includes at least one US Navy Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer flying an American flag, a catamaran-style expeditionary fast transport (EPF/JHSV) also flying an American flag, and at least one smaller patrol or corvette-type vessel. Numerous additional ships are visible on the distant horizon, suggesting a larger naval exercise or transit operation.
