U.S. Soldiers from Multinational Battle Group-East visit with Kosovo youth during an America with Kosovo event held in Dragash, Kosovo Oct. 6, 2016. During the event the U.S. Soldiers partnered with members of the Kosovo Police, Kosovo Security Force, the U.S. Embassy, and the local government representatives to talk to more than 200 Kosovar students about countering violent extremism, promoting positive inter-ethic relations as well as crime reporting techniques. The U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Kosovo, Greg Delawie, opened the event by offering words of encouragement to the youth about the future of Kosovo. U.S. and NATO forces have contributed to the United Nations-mandated peacekeeping mission in Kosovo since June 1999. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Thomas Duval)
