Deployed service members paused in response to a Royal Australian Air Force Chaplain during a Coalition Veteran’s Day ceremony on Nov. 11, 2016 at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. RAAF Chaplain Senini shared what this joint ceremony meant to her. “Acts of Remembrance to honour our war dead and veterans are intrinsic to all military personnel. Sharing this duty today with our partner nations is important because it reminds us that the cost of peace and the great tragedy of war is a shared burden that our partner nations have, and will continue to, carry with us.
