    Petty Officer 3rd Class Cole Johnson, an aviation survival technician from Coast Guard Air Station Corpus Christi, Texas, and Senior Airman Allen-Mikel Armstrong, a pararescueman from the 212th Rescue Squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska, walks out of the surf zone along a beach in Fort Stevens State Park in Warrenton, Ore., Nov. 7, 2016.

    Johnson and Armstrong are two of 16 students participating in the Advanced Helicopter Rescue School, a week-long school that trains helicopter aircrews advanced techniques in dangerous rescue scenarios.
