Lt. Col. Lane Turner, commander of Division Special Troops Battalion, 1st Armored Division, pins an Army Achievement Medal on Sgt. Jonathan Woods, airspace command and control noncommissioned officer in charge at Company A, Division Special Troops Battalion, 1st Armored Division, after Woods was announced the NCO of the Quarter during a ceremony at Camp Liberty June 30. Woods, a New Orleans native, had to overcome six trials in order to excel above the rest of the other competitors in order to earn the honor.
