    US, Polish forces conduct anti-tank cross-training

    DRAWSKO POMORSKIE, Poland – Pfc. Joel Lomas, Paratrooper, Company D, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, fires an M136 AT4 anti-tank weapon alongside Spc. Dakota Kohlhof, Paratrooper, D Co., 2nd Bn., 503rd Inf. Regt., during anti-tank training with Polish allies assigned to the 16th Airborne Battalion, 6th Airborne Brigade, in Studnica, Poland, Oct. 29, 2016. The training provided both U.S. and Polish forces cross training on the AT4 anti-tank weapon and the RPG-7D Anti-Tank Grenade Launcher. The “Sky Soldiers” of D Co., 2nd Bn., 503rd Inf. Regt., are on a training rotation in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve, a U.S. led effort in Eastern Europe that demonstrates U.S. commitment to the collective security of NATO and dedication to enduring peace and stability in the region. The 173rd Airborne Brigade, based in Vicenza, Italy, is the Army Contingency Response Force in Europe, and is capable of projecting forces to conduct a full range of military operations across the United States European, Central and Africa Command areas of responsibility within 18 hours.
