FORT RILEY, Kan. – Col. Timothy Hayden, the commander of the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, stands in formation in front of the brigade’s color guard after casing the unit’s colors during a deployment casing ceremony on Cavalry Parade Field Sept. 23.
