A drill instructor from Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, corrects a recruit during the Bayonet Assault Course at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Oct. 11. Drill instructors were stationed at each obstacle to ensure the recruits completed them correctly. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Delta Company is scheduled to graduate Nov.4.
