A recruit from Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, crawls through an obstacle during the Bayonet Assault Course at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Oct. 11. The course requires recruits to conduct every obstacle and move as a team of six. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Delta Company is scheduled to graduate Nov.4.
