A large group of approximately 40-50 individuals, predominantly in U.S. military camouflage uniforms, pose for a formal group photograph on a tarmac in front of a dark-colored UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter. The group includes both military personnel and several civilians in casual attire. A second helicopter is partially visible in the background to the right.

Co. A. 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division and members of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, FEMA and local government agencies pose in front of an UH-60 Blackhawk upon completion of the Galveston site survey on Sept. 23. The survey allowed these organizations to see the damage done by Hurricane Ike eight years ago and what progress the people of the greater Houston, Bolivar and Coastal city have made since.
