ARABIAN GULF (Sept. 30, 2016) Petty Officer 3rd Class Chaz Overbee, from Greenfield, Ohio, removes a high pressure turbine in the jet shop of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Overbee serves as an aviation machinist's mate aboard Ike and inspects and repairs jet motors. Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
