Cpl. Andy Melendez, a machine gunner assigned to 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5, pays his final respects to a friend and fallen brother, Lance Cpl. Michael D. Glover. Glover was killed in action Aug. 16, while conducting combat operations in Fallujah, Iraq. His platoon commander, Capt. John J. McKenna IV, was also killed in action that day. The two Marines were assigned to the battalion's B Company and were honored at a memorial service held Aug. 26.
