    Rachel Hasty, a guidance counselor for Westbrook High School in Westbrook, Maine, speaks with a senior student about in-state colleges, Sept. 19, 2016. One hour earlier, Hasty officially joined the Marine Corps’ Delayed Entry Program, a program that prepares individuals for leaving for recruit training. Hasty is joining the Marine Corps following her attendance to the Educator’s Workshop, a four-day program designed to better inform high school educators and community influencers about the benefits and opportunities available during service in the Marine Corps.
