Marines from 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion walk back from a machine gun shoot during a combined weapons range at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Sept. 20-21, 2016. The training increased the Marines’ proficiency on various weapons platforms and improved their tactical mindset. Instead of focusing on one skill, this training combined multiple weapon systems and vehicles to show the Marines how to use each asset effectively and accomplish the mission.
