AL ASAD, Iraq (June 18, 2006) - Lance Cpl. Sedric L. Simon hammers a drop tank fin into place on an EA-6B Prowler belonging to Marine Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 2, Marine Aircraft Group 16 (Reinforced), 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, at Al Asad, Iraq, June 18. Simon is a plane captain and power plant mechanic with the squadron's Powerline Division. The division's Marines are responsible for preflight and postflight inspections, engine maintenance, external and internal fuel system maintenance, as well as acting as the plane captains for the aircraft. Simon is a West Palm Beach, Fla., native.
