A CH-47 Chinook helicopter piloted by U.S. Army aviators with the 224th Aviation Regiment, 29th Infantry Division, lifts an M777 howitzer from Battery C, 1st Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, Task Force Strike, during a sling load training exercise Aug. 11, 2016, in Erbil, Iraq. The Soldiers conducted the training to maintain their proficiency in sling load operations while deployed to Iraq in support of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve.
