A hook-up team, comprised of U.S. Soldiers assigned to Battery C, 1st Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, Task Force Strike, attach an M777 howitzer to a CH-47 Chinook piloted by aviators with the 224th Aviation Regiment, 29th Infantry Division during a sling load training exercise Aug. 11 2016, in Erbil, Iraq. The Soldiers conducted the training to maintain their proficiency in sling load operations while deployed to Iraq in support of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve.
