BANGOR, Wash. (Aug. 12. 2016) The combined crew of the Ohio-class fleet ballistic-missile submarine, USS Nevada (SSBN 733), stand together for a group photo during the 30th Anniversary of the ship's commissioning. Commissioned on Aug. 16, 1986, Nevada was originally supposed to decommission at the 30-year mark, the service life of the Ohio-class SSBNs has since been extended to 42 years.
