160801-N-JB957-007 SILVERDALE, Wash. (Aug. 1, 2016) - Sailors prepare the trimming for the ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly refreshed Unaccompanied Housing (UH) quarters at NBK, Bangor. Rooms were reconfigured into two-bedroom units, which included common lounges, kitchens with dining areas, and laundry appliances. The project, which started December 2014 and completed in June 2016, improves the housing quality for NBK personnel, leading to high morale, readiness and mission performance, while maintaining safe quarters.
