Rear Adm. June Ryan, the commander of the 9th Coast Guard District, and Julie Gascon, the assistant commissioner for the Canadian Coast Guard Central and Arctic Region renew the ongoing binational commitment for pollution response on the Great Lakes Aug. 5, 2016, in Grand Haven, Michigan. Ryan and Gascon renewed the binational pollution response agreement between the U.S. and Canada known as CANUSLAK.
