U.S., Canadian leaders renew Great Lakes binational pollution response agreement [Image 1 of 2]
Rear Adm. June Ryan, the commander of the 9th Coast Guard District, and Julie Gascon, the assistant commissioner for the Canadian Coast Guard Central and Arctic Region, sign a larger than life version of the binational pollution response agreement for the Great Lakes, Aug. 5, 2016, at Escanaba Park in Grand Haven, Michigan. Ryan and Gascon renewed the binational pollution response agreement between the U.S. and Canada known as CANUSLAK.
