Kuantan, MALAYSIA, 05 Aug, 2016- Rear Adm. Brian S. Pecha, U.S. Pacific Command surgeon (center), receives the official flag from Lt. Gen. Datuk (Dr.) Abd Razak Bin Md Yusoff, Director General of the Malaysian Armed Forces Health Services (left) and prepares to pass it to Rear Adm. Tang Kong Choong, Chief of Singapore Armed Forces Medical Corps (right) to signify that Singapore will be the location of the Asia Pacific Military Health Exchange (AMPHE) in 2017. Co-hosted by U.S. Pacific Command surgeon and the Malaysian Armed Forces Health Services Division, the AMPHE 2016 included plenary sessions focused on a variety of medical professions, as well as breakout sessions specific to ground, air, and maritime forces in the Indo-Asia- Pacific region.
