The simulated sealed human remains pouch is placed in a refrigeration unit awaiting transport to the Theater Mortuary Evacuation Point during Mortuary Affairs Exercise 16-02, July 22, at Fort Pickett, Va. MAX 16-02 included all six U.S. Army Reserve Mortuary Affairs units performing search and recovery missions and operating Mortuary Affairs Collection Points and a Theater Mortuary Evacuation Point.
