    Task Force Koa Moana: Grunts survive Fiji

During the survival training the Marines, with Task Force Koa Moana, and Fijian Soldiers were separated from their platoon’s and were forced to find food, water and shelter to survive for more than 24 hours. During the exercise they conducted jungle survival, live-fire range and patrol base operation training to increase interoperability and relations. Bulavakarua and Loniceva are infantryman with 3rd Battalion, 3rd Fiji Infantry Regiment, Republic of Fiji Military Forces. Anderson, from Sumter, South Carolina, is an infantryman with Task Force Koa Moana, and is originally assigned to Company C, 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force.
