Technical Sgt. Kevin Gilles, 82nd Aerial Port Squadron, and Sgt. Scott Connelly, 238th Transportation Company training NCO, discuss the benefits of having their unit members work together to strengthen their job skills at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. The Air Force and Army reservists coordinated for three months to develop a July 23, 2016 training event during Exercise PATRIOT WYVERN that taught soldiers how to load and secure heavy equipment aboard the C-5M Super Galaxy.
Gilles, commented that something as simple as teaching Airmen and Soldiers to understand each service’s equipment nomenclatures benefits everyone, especially during quick deployments when they have to move tons of equipment and supplies quickly, safely and efficiently.
