160719-N-GR718-006 GULF OF OMAN (July 19, 2016) Seaman Grady Satcher maintains a log of the amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans (LPD 18) course and speed during a replenishment at sea with the fast combat support ship USNS Arctic (T-AOE 8). New Orleans is part of the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
