    USS PAUL HAMILTON (DDG-60) - (July 13, 2016) Oceanside, Calif. native, Cmdr. Daniele Defant, commanding officer of the guided-missile destroyer, USS Paul Hamilton (DDG-60), speaks to educators and professionals from South Texas about her career in the Navy during Navy Recruiting District (NRD) San Antonio's Educator Orientation Visit (EOV). The EOV is a Navy Recruiting Command program with a main focus of showing educators the various facets of the Navy and the many career paths available to students. Defant is a 1991 graduate of the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in Durham and graduated from Old Dominion University through the Enlisted Education Advancement Program (EEAP) in 1998.
