An Iraqi officer at the Iraq Civil Defense Directorate sits in the first ambulance to arrive in the International Zone. U.S. forces had the ambulance refurbished, and it was handed over to Iraqis, April 22, to use as a training aid. With further repairs, the vehicle will be ready for use in rescue missions as well.
