Romanian citizens look at an American UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter during a general aviation exhibition at Otopeni Airfield July 16, 2016 in Bucharest, Romania. American soldiers from 3rd Bn., 501st Aviation Regiment, 1st Armored Division Combat Aviation Brigade, participated in the air show after being invited by the Romanian armed forces. The soldiers, who are stationed at Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base, Romania as part of NATO’s commitment to Operation Atlantic Resolve, said they enjoyed interacting with the Romanian public. “This event helps us build ties with the civilian community and helps to increase their knowledge of our mission supporting the Romanian people and our NATO allies,” said Chief Warrant Officer 3 Peter Klein, 3-501st AV, as he posed for pictures with the Romanians.
