PATRIOT is an annual exercise held at Volk Field to test the National Guard’s capabilities and develop working relationships with first responders and government agencies. The fire fighters are gathered from various states and benefit from the training by exchanging knowledge and experiences they have encountered while on military duty and also in some of their civilian fire-fighting experiences.
