Latvian Maj. Gen. Almantas Leika, the outgoing Commanding General of The Latvian Land Forces, passes the guidon to Lt. Gen. Jonas Vytautas Zukas, Chief of Defence for Lithuania, at the Commanding General of the Land Forces change of command ceremony, at Kaunas, Lithuania on July 15, 2016. The soldiers of Bravo Company, 3rd Battalion, 69th Armored Regiment, who participated in the ceremony, are training with their Baltic allies in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve, a U.S. led effort in Eastern Europe to demonstrate U.S. commitment to the collective security of NATO and dedication to enduring peace and stability in the region.
