GULF OF ADEN (July 11, 2016) The French Horizon-class air defense destroyer FS Forbin (D620) works with the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Mason (DDG87) during Maritime Security Operations. Mason, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
