RED SEA (July 01, 2016) Members of the anti-piracy team of the French Navy’s Horizon-class air defense destroyer FS Forbin (D620) climb the pilot’s ladder from a rigid hull inflatable boat onto the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Mason (DDG 87) during a simulated Maritime Interdiction Operation. Mason, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
