    160705-M-WH287-001 MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII (July 5, 2016) - An Indonesian soldier practices safety procedures for the CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter July 5, 2016 aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii. This training is designed to enhance the interoperability of the combined RIMPAC forces during military operations in the maritime environment. Exercise Rim of the Pacific 16 is the world's largest international maritime exercise, and provides a unique training opportunity that helps participants foster and sustain cooperative relationships that are critical to ensuring the safety of sea lanes and on the world's oceans.
