Sgt. Christopher Mancino, Goffstown, N.H., native, serving in 82nd Sustainment Brigade, locates a position on a map during the land navigation portion of Soldier challegesduring the Joint Sustainment Command-Afghanistan 'NCO of the Year' competition, April 13. Mancino came in 1st place and will go on to compete for the 1st Theater Sustainment Command title at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, May 10-14. Winning that competition will put him one step closer to his goal of being named 'NCO of the Year" Army-wide, but competitions may suspend his leave dates leaving him unable to be with his wife on their anniversary.
