A staff member from St. John’s College, Ovalau, Fiji, makes Kava, a traditional drink made from local roots, during a welcoming ceremony for U.S. Marines and Sailors with Task Force Koa Moana, July 3, 2016, as part of the task force’s deployment in the Asia-Pacific region. The task force is conducting vertical construction training at the school and infantry training, with the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, on the island to increase interoperability and relations.
