160625-N-UL717-096 BUSAN, Republic of Korea (June 25, 2016) - Rear Adm. Bill Byrne, the commander of U.S. Naval Forces Korea, speaks at the 66th commemoration of the start of the Korean War. Byrne represented the United Nations Command at the event, held in Busan at the UN National Memorial Park. On June 25, 1950 the unprovoked forces of North Korea invaded the South Korea, beginning the three year war.
